vSphere Supervisor Services
Supervisor Services run Kubernetes deployments directly on a vSphere namespace, so no Kubernetes guest cluster is needed and the pods run on the ESXi host through the vSphere CRX runtime.
Securing the Horizon connection – part 2
Part 1 covered how locked.properties secures the connection between Horizon Connection Servers and clients, mainly through balancedHost. There are cases where that causes trouble.

The VMware tools moved to the Broadcom portals on 6 May. Since then there has been disillusion and, in places, bewilderment. A lot of accounts are simply empty.
Storage performance testing with vdbench
IOmeter is quick, but its data patterns do not suit a modern storage array. vdbench is the better tool, and this is how to configure it.
Securing the Horizon connection – part 1
Recent Horizon releases tighten the connections between agents and connection servers. Several of those settings are driven by the locked.properties file.
Distributed Network & Security Services
Virtualised networks have been running on hypervisor platforms in data centres for more than 20 years. What has changed is what they now have to cover: automation and security together.
