What changed
Since Broadcom’s acquisition, service providers have to attach to a CSP in the Pinnacle or Premier tier if their core count is below 3500. For many Swiss providers that is not a choice but a condition of carrying on.
Why us specifically
Because we do not host anything ourselves. We are a partner rather than a competitor, and in this business that is not a throwaway line: licensing your platform through someone who serves the same customers gives away more than an order quantity.
As a CSP in the Premier tier we supply white-label licensing for your hosting platform, along with help integrating the VCF technologies. We implement VCF ourselves and can help with Tanzu, NSX, vSAN and the operations tooling, so the stack you bought actually gets used.
Working out your core count
Read the core count from your vCenter inventory. The part that catches people out: every CPU counts as at least 16 cores, even where the actual number is lower. That is where estimates go wrong.
