We are proud to have been invited to this year’s VMware Partner Leadership Summit (PLS) in the USA as one of the core partners in EMEA. The event brings VMware partners together every year to discuss the latest technology, products and solutions.
As a provider of IT solutions and services, soulTec has built a reputation as a reliable partner for companies in the region. Taking part in VMware PLS 2023 is how we show our expertise and our commitment to working with VMware and with our customers.
VMware Partner Leadership Summit 2023
The PLS is an excellent opportunity for us to deepen our partnership with VMware, extend our skills and knowledge, and strengthen our relationships with other people in the industry. We look forward to getting something out of the event and to sharing our knowledge and experience with our customers and partners.
We are very grateful for the invitation to VMware PLS 2023 and had a successful event alongside VMware and other partners from the EMEA region.
Our Michael Steg took the chance to represent soulTec at the VMware Partner Leadership Summit. Over the three days he used the opportunity to talk to other partners and VMware experts and to get to know their new ideas and strategies.
Networking was the focus. Michael knew this was a good opportunity to connect with people from across the EMEA region and to pick up valuable insight. He was also glad to see familiar faces again and talk to like-minded people.
The PLS goes into the books as a success for both soulTec and Michael. Many thanks for organising it. We are already looking forward to next year.
The biggest news from the PLS
VMware is introducing Cross-Cloud Managed Services. They are meant to make it easier for partners to offer managed services in multi-cloud environments and improve profitability. We welcome the move and are already working closely with VMware to build solutions from it that fit our customers.
The coming months will be interesting here. We will validate our managed services offering and fold in the advantages of VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services, which will give our customers and partners better incentives, more flexibility and simpler ways of doing business.
What do the VMware Cross-Cloud Managed Services cover?
The new services cover offerings for hybrid clouds, native public clouds and modern apps, and promise to lower total cost of ownership, simplify processes and tune performance for better transparency.
We look forward to working closely with VMware and are curious about the possibilities that Cross-Cloud Managed Services will open up for us and our customers.
Michael Steg’s travel report
Michael’s trip to the PLS started on Sunday with the flight from Zurich to Los Angeles.
Plagued by jetlag, his Monday began at 2 in the morning. The programme started that day anyway, with an e-bike tour along the Palos Verdes coast together with other PLS attendees. Thanks to the electric assist, all the energy could go into networking, which produced a lot of good conversations with other VMware partners from EMEA.
More networking events followed in the afternoon, which Michael again used for conversations that could open up new possibilities for soulTec in the Swiss market. Monday evening rounded off with the official welcome reception at the hotel pool, good food and cold drinks.
The next two days belonged entirely to the PLS: sessions, one-to-one conversations with VMware people and with other partners. The whole event was organised impeccably and everyone got their money’s worth. For Michael it was a great experience, and he is already looking forward to representing soulTec at the next PLS.
