## The partnership

Our team has specialised in virtualization for years, and in desktop virtualization
specifically we have our own engineers and architects. Broadcom's acquisition of VMware
split that business out, and it has traded under its own name since.

That changed nothing about the partnership. We want to master the technology in depth.

## Where we stand

We intend to be the most capable Omnissa partner in Switzerland. We keep up with what is
shipping, we are active in the global EUC community, and we are part of the Omnissa Tech
Insider community.

## Citrix Takeout

Broadcom's acquisition and the Omnissa spin-out make Citrix on vSphere more expensive, and
the Horizon editions include the vSphere platform that Citrix now has to buy separately.
