## How you add value

We are looking for a VCFA and VCFOO person to accompany and deliver projects, mainly in Switzerland and also in neighbouring countries.

- Concept, design and engineering of VCF Automation (VCFA), VCF Operations Orchestrator (VCFOO) and VCF Operations (VCFO) environments
- Configuration, installation, operation and troubleshooting of VCF automation and operations architectures
- Supporting sales with consulting, quotes and workshops
- Member of the Broadcom PSO subcontracting team EMEA: on Broadcom's behalf you help deliver customer projects in Switzerland or EMEA
- You share what you know internally and externally, you are active on our social media channels and you write blog posts
- You help your Platform & Automation team improve its strategic direction and play an active part in it, so that we remain the no. 1 Broadcom automation partner
- Helping to build customer-oriented automation services, and possibly optimising the DevOps team's CI/CD work
- You support our Broadcom partner status by earning current certifications such as VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX, or Kubernetes certifications (for example CKA, CKAD, CKS)
- You take part in writing best practices, white papers, blog posts, design templates and other material on the VCF Automation technologies
- You actively shape the strategic direction with us

## What makes you the ideal candidate

- A completed IT education or equivalent training; several years of professional experience
- Proven knowledge of the VMware VCF products: vSphere, VCFA, VCFOO, vCenter and/or VCF Operations
- Knowledge of VCF networking technology
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and orchestration, for example with VCF Automation / Orchestrator or Crossplane
- You are familiar with the operator approach, and CRs mean something to you
- Experience building and running CI/CD frameworks, for example with GitLab, GitHub, OneDev or Jenkins
- A basic understanding of the GitOps pattern and hands-on experience with ArgoCD or Flux in a Kubernetes environment
- A plus if you already hold Broadcom certifications, for example VCP for VCF (if not, we help you earn them)
- You are strongly service-oriented, and you stand out for ownership and independence
- You have excellent German, written and spoken, and the technical English the field needs
- You are critical and question soulTec's decisions with the aim of moving us forward. That is exactly who we are looking for
- Experience with current software development methods, with an emphasis on software and hardware architecture and on infrastructure design and development
- Experience in infrastructure architecture and in designing complex distributed system environments, including failover techniques, recovery and rollback, and application partitioning
- An understanding of storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multiprocessor designs (SMP)
- A motivating and likeable personality, with customers and with colleagues
- Experience virtualising enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, web servers and so on)
